Yesterday we were at Antipolo Beehouse to have our vow renewal on our fifth wedding anniversary. I brought my guitar and Bryce set himself to try the piano. Jaycelle, on the other hand, could have sang a song—if we managed to jive our music together.
To my favorite husband, the father of my wonderful son and my lifelong partner,
Every love story is special, unique and beautiful— but ours is my favorite.
I didn’t think it was possible to love you even more than I did the day I married you, but somehow my love only deepens, strengthens and grows. I love you more than you ever know.
Today, we celebrate the best decision you’ve ever made—making me your wife and the mother of your kid. 😂
Happy 5th wedding anniversary, my Brian! ♥️♥️♥️
“My greatest nightmare is realizing I hadn’t reviewed for the day’s final exam,” I shared with Jaycelle along with a dream I had last night.
“I remember in college arriving at class with a minute left in the period,” I said proudly.
“I remember cutting classes because I was a minute late. All or nothing at all,” Jaycelle said proudly.
Anecdotes that tell opposing values yet cement our togetherness.
Our conversation branched out into a timeline somewhere in 2007 when we were becoming friends and lovers.
As I was cleaning my email folders, I re-discover a journal entry I wrote and saved as draft email, which was never published on any of my blogs. And since it’s the love month, I am giving myself credit to be mushy.
