As my #LittleAdamBryce gets a little older, sleep problems are sometimes our struggle. Toddlers hate to go to bed in the first place because well duhhh, there are so many fun distractions! 🤪
And since our household can benefit from a decent sleep, I have learned some tips from experience on how to make my tot sleep better.
Lots of playtime and running around even indoors help! Being active the whole morning and afternoon help to tire my active ball of sunshine.
Consistent calming bedtime routine also helps! To calm Bryce down and prepare to sleep, we clean up after dinner. We alternate bath nights and sponge bath nights. When we discovered @johnsonsbabyph Bedtime Bath and Lotion, Bryce fell in love with the scent! One time he even said, “Mom, I NEED this.” Sounds like a real grown-up! A need? Really?! How cute! 🤣
Also, we are still co-sleeping and he still breastfeeds (extended breastfeeding FTW). When he does, it’s a sure ball that he’s going to sleep instantaneously! And I do a happy dance! 💃🏻🤩
