As an office get-up, Bryce wanted to wear his home sando around his neck but I said that he had a better alternative to it—his big-slash-scarf that he had since he was one-year-old. We just didn’t use it often because we all know what happens to real-usage of bibs, right? They become rags!
✨OUR NEWEST FAMILY FAVORITE✨
We’ve tried a handful of baby products for #LittleAdamBryce since he was a newborn up to now that he is an active toddler. Recently we’ve tried Johnson’s® Cottontouch™ Top-To-Toe™ Bath and Johnson’s® Cottontouch™ Face & Body Lotion from the NEW @johnsonsbabyph product line with the gentlest formulation that’s free from parabens, phthalates, sulfates and dyes.
💧Johnson’s® Cottontouch™ Top-To-Toe™ Bath💧
I love Johnson’s for their No More Tears® formula. Toddlers are very active even while taking a bath! It’s like another playtime activity and adventure time, only with water involved haha. The No More Tears® formula ensures that no matter how likot Bryce can be, his eyes won’t get hurt even if the product accidentally touches his eyes. No crying episodes during bath time!
Also for moms like me who like to keep it simple for their babies’ and kids’ bath time, you’ll love Cottontouch™ Top-To-Toe™ Bath because this 2-in-1 product is ultra-light and gentle even for newborn’s sensitive skin and toddler skin alike! It effectively cleanses and gently moisturizes my toddler’s hair and body without leaving any residue.
I fell in love with the sweet and soft scent. I think you will love it too!
Bonus: I love the new modern packaging. The 500ml pump bottle dispenser is a breeze to use. It’s so easy to pump with just one hand!
💧Johnson’s® Cottontouch™ Face & Body Lotion💧
This is perfect for Bryce (and husband) who don’t like lotions. Cottontouch™ lotion is a unique water-based lotion blended with natural cotton. This seals off the sweet and soft scent on my Bryce’s skin. None of the icky sticky greasy after-feel. It’s truly lightweight and leaves our skin (yes, I’ve tried it on myself too!) moisturized, soft and incredibly smooth!
I’m 100% confident that you will love Johnson’s® Cottontouch™ Top-To-Toe™ Bath and Johnson’s® Cottontouch™ Face & Body Lotion too! We invite you to try them too and check them out on Lazada for great deals!!
💙 TODDLER MILESTONES 💙
So this month of June my #LittleAdamBryce turned 3 years and 6 months old and his developments and milestones are very obvious. I really have a big boy already!🤩💙
🌀He started wanting to shower and take a bath on his own! Of course, we don’t let him go alone, we’re still supervising him in the bathroom. He super enjoys the shower🚿 and washing his body, but he finds it icky to wash or touch his butt.😅😂
🌀He’s super into arts & crafts. He discovered painting/colouring/drawing AND THEN CUTTING his artwork AND THEN TAPING them together to form something. In short, he discovered using scissors ✂️and scotch tape (we immediately bought him his new supplies from @nationalbookstore)
🌀He started wanting to wear his home slippers and outdoors slippers! I just wish he would always remember to wear his home slippers so we can prolong the cleanliness of our bed! 🛏😅
Our toddlers are amazing! What other cute and stunning development and milestone did you notice with your toddler at this same age?
💧On another note, we’re currently trying @johnsonsbabyph’s newest and gentlest #CottonTouch Head-to-Toe Wash. We love the super gentle scent, the “no tears” formula and how moisturizing it is on his skin!😍
Since we did not meet up with my parents on the day of Father’s Day, we bonded weeks after, instead. Our middle ground was Pasay City. I thought that Mall of Asia would be jam-packed on a Sunday, a less-crowded venue would suit us best.
In a routine errand day, we went to Megamall to get Jaycelle’s custom-made rubber stamp and of course, Bryce’s visit to the toy store.
The plan was for Jaycelle and Bryce to head there first and after work, I would follow. It was a walking distance of only 2 km. from the office to the mall.
There at Toy Kingdom, I met with Jaycelle and Bryce. As usual, Bryce had his wide-eyed expression with all the different toy sections inside the store. At his age of three and a half, he was still satisfied playing with the toys in their unopened packaging. Most of the time we would leave toy stores empty-handed—but not today.
We bought the cheapest X-Shot toy gun because of all the tissue cores lying around the house. Apart from serving as blank canvases for Bryce’s artworks, we thought of stacking and “bunging” (read: hitting) them with foam bullets.
I’ve been experiencing occasional insomnia attacks that left me wide-awake until three in the morning. When my tummy started to growl, my mind couldn’t and wouldn’t let go of my foodie thoughts that eventually became a craving! This time I craved for breakfast food that I can literally eat any time of the day!
One restaurant that I saw online that I bookmarked on my Must-Try List was Kanto Freestyle Breakfast. I originally thought that they only have a branch in Kapasigan, Pasig. Imagine my excitement to find that they have seven branches! I saw a branch in Mandaluyong which I thought was near us, but eventually, my Brian checked the map and noted that their Kapitolyo, Pasig branch is nearer our place.

- A quiet time in the early morning to read Devotions for Women. Thanks SampleRoomPH family for that wonderful gift!
- Flexible time! I’m so grateful that I can be with my toddler boy majority of the time, especially when he needed an impromptu check-up from time to time.
- At lunch, an 85-year-old lady adoringly notices how conversationalist (talkative) and independent Bryce is in feeding himself and telling me “That’s good!” making me feel like I’m doing a great job as a momma. *makes me proud of my #LittleAdamBryce yet again*
- Somewhat-free HMO from husband’s work. Grateful we can consult a doctor anytime we needed to without creating a dent on our finances.

How was your Sunday? Were you able to rest and relax before the start of a new week? I certainly hope you did!
“Sunday. A day to refuel your soul and rejuvenate your spirit. A day to reflect how grateful you are for your blessings. Close your eyes, take a deep breath and relax. Enjoy your family, your friends, and a cup of coffee.”
Above all of the hustle and bustle of the events and reunions, my head’s above water. I can see more clearly. The appreciation of every day is more apparent. In a twisted manner, what good came out of the same old holidays is the ability to control and slow down my thoughts and my actions. Slow and lean—these are my words for January.
Happy new year, everyone!
It’s amazing here in, Manila Philippines, where I am from that the long holidays is literally long. We are just about recovering from the holiday festivities — pre-Christmas date with good friends Clang and Millie, Noche Buena with husband’s dad’s side, Christmas day with husband’s mom’s side, post-Christmas lunch visit to my mom and uncle, a little playdate and toy shopping with cousin Ate Ira, Ate Koi and Tita Ninang Hazel the next day, post-Christmas lunch with Tito Ninong Glenn, Tita Ninang Maxine and my baby niece Leille the following day after, amongst all the other Christmas parties with workmates and friends in between. And that is just for the Christmas celebrations!
Moving on to recognizing the festivities for the new year 2019. We had Media Noche with my little family, another playdate and gift shopping with cousin Ate Ira, Ate Koi and TiNang Hazel, and a great catch-up date with our couple friends, Joseph and Shirmel. And tomorrow we visit my bestie Jaja, Jorge, Iñigo and our newest baby Sachi!
Life is good!
Despite the roller coaster of emotions I’ve felt, not so good moments and situations I have experienced, I am humbled to recognized that I AM GRATEFUL for all these details in my life. For all these precious people in our lives. For all these precious life experiences.
